I think there are two reasons Hunk Finn sould and souldnt be in school. this book shows you about slavery down south and also teachs you about the laws then and how they chaned to now. I have a coupe reasons for my thinking and I will tell you them know.
First, i think this book sould be taught in school because of the slavery that the book tells. For example, there is a character named Miss Watson who owns a slave named Jim. He works all day for her, very hand working man. that would be great for kids to read and learn about how slavery and how the slaves worked.
Second, there are alot of laws in the book that arent there know. Like the underage drinking law, and also the smoking law. All these laws are changed today. The drinking age is 21 and the smoking is 18. Thats also another good reasons for this book in school because it will show the kids between the difference of today and back then.
Thrid, i think that the book is a bad influnce because of a the crusing and voilence in the book. In this book they love using the word "nigger". For example, in the book they said " and that nigger was corked up and had to take a back seat." So there are alot of bad influnce, and this can influnce kids to use this langueage.
In conclusion, this book teachs people about the different time periods, savery, and also the different laws. This book also teachs people to using bad influnce and has a bad influnce on a younger crowd. But my overall thought is that this book sould be taught in school. What do you think?
